TRX .15 BOOST COLLAR

*Will also fit other 10mm carburetors.

This is our BOOST COLLAR (Vertical stack) for the TRX-15 and TRX-15 PRO. It will also fit other engines with a 10mm carburetor.
It installs between the carburetor and the engine intake as shown below.
It allows more time for the fuel mixture to vaporize before entering the engine making for a much cleaner and more efficient ignition.
We are getting some awesome feedback from customers on this item.
Cooler running engine and improved upper end performance have been the most common so far.

It also acts like a boost bottle by allowing the negative pressure generated by the two-stroke engine to be stored until the next cycle where the fresh vaporized fuel/air mixture is sucked into the engine.
When installing this item, please make sure that you have read the following;
It is very important to achieve a good seal on both the top and bottom of the BOOST COLLAR. When you insert the collar into the engine press firmly and hold until you have tightened it in place. Then when you place the carburetor on top of the collar, make sure to apply a small amount of pressure, pushing the carburetor into the collar, and then tighten the set-screw. If you have any problems with the gasket on the carburetor, use a very small amount of silicone to seal any leaks.

Notice:
We have received some feedback from customers regarding this item recently where erratic startups and poor power outputs have been experienced. These problems are due to a bad seal on the gaskets during the initial install. Please make sure that you have installed the collar properly ensuring that you have the gaskets seated correctly to avoid air leaks.
Also as always we recommend using thread lock on any fastener including the set screw on the collar.
This product will perform as described, however you will have to do some fine tuning to your engine to find the new "sweet spot". This notice has been added due to the number of calls that we have received requiring assistance with the collar. All of these calls have been due to the air leaks created when installing the collar.
