Want to go and play with your truck in the snow?  Slap a pair of our skis on there and go! Machined 6061 aluminum adaptors, Skis, and hardware is all in the pack and in about 10 minutes you could be running your truck out on that nice sweet powder.  The Black plastic skis have skegs on the bottom for excellent control and turning radius.  Instructions are included as well.  You will need to convert your truck to 2WD with any of our ski kits by removing the front drive shafts.

TRAXXAS MAXX SERIES WINTER SKI KIT

This is our original MAXX Ski kit.  This kit was designed to fit the 2.5 and older MAXX trucks.  Simply pop your drive shafts, and replace your front wheels with this kit and away you go!

Will fit the specific variations of the MAXX Trucks running the original style Carriers Traxxas part #4932.  These trucks include S-MAXX #5109, T-MAXX #4910 and older.   You will need our next generation Revo ski kit for other trucks.

TRAXXAS REVO WINTER SKI KIT

These second generation ski kits include additional hardware and machined brackets making them compatible with the newer generation of Traxxas MAXX and REVO trucks. 

Beautifully machined T6 6061 aluminum brackets, skis, hardware and instructions are included.  These kits are designed to fit the Revo style carriers (TRX5334) and will fit all other trucks using these same parts. Kit can also be used for original style MAXX trucks using the standard TRX4932 carriers (simply discard some of the hardware supplied in the kit).  This kit fits the following models with no modification or alterations: S-MAXX 5109, T-MAXX 4910, 4908, 4902, Original REVO 5309, Slayer 5908, E-MAXX 3905, E-REVO 5605 and others running the standard 14mm Traxxas hex.

Other models running the larger 17mm wheel hex such as the REVO 5308, 5304, E-MAXX 3905, 3908, E-REVO 5608 and the SUMMIT 5610 can all be made to accept this kit by simply removing the blue aluminum 17mm hexes and purchasing the 14mm hexes and pins and using them on the front to fit our skis.  Part numbers for the hex and pins are TRA4954.  You can pick up this item directly below.

TRAXXAS 14mm WHEEL HEXES

Allows the use of our ski kits on the newer Traxxas vehicles running the 17mm hexes.  Kit includes 2 pins and 2 plastic hexes.

HPI SAVAGE SERIES WINTER SKI KIT

These heavy duty ski kits are designed to fill all versions of the Savage including the 21, 25, SS and the Savage X. 

Can be modified to fit the E-Savage as well (check our help forum for details). 

Update 1/6/10 -Kit can also be used on the new Savage XL by replacing the axle output shafts part#86249  with the older (and shorter) style #86065.  This will allow the kit to fit correctly on the carrier.

You must be aware that your electronics will need to be water proofed in some way. Either by the use of balloons or plastic-dip or any other method that you may prefer. It is very important that you are aware of the risk of having your electronics damaged when exposed to water.
